Ilia Topuria He is not one of those who remains silent or avoids responding to a provocation. The Spanish UFC fighter responded to a tweet from McGregor in which the Irishman misspelled his name to deny a fight between the two.
“Rumors of a fight with Topurio are false. I am in preliminary contacts with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have accepted. I will look for my return to the octagon later,” McGregor wrote, interested in linking his name to that of the Spanish.
And Topuria, also playing with the name of his enemy, responded with another tweet. “Rumors of a fight with McChicken are false. I do not fight nor am I interested in fighting with a rapist“wrote the UFC featherweight champion.
Topuria refers to the recent conviction of the Irishman for rape. McGregor, after deliberation by the civil court, will have to pay 248,000 euros in damages to Nikita Hand for events that occurred in 2018 and they had been under summary secrecy until this last month.
