The winner of the FIFA Fan Award will be chosen exclusively by the fans, while a panel of experts will decide the recipient of the FIFA Fair Play Award. The winners of the new FIFA Marta Award and the FIFA Puskás Award will be chosen from fans and a panel of FIFA Legends, whose vote will have equal weight.
The biggest novelty regarding the voting of this edition of The Best FIFA Football Awards™ is that fans will have the opportunity to participate in the election of The Best Award for the FIFA men’s eleven and The Best Award for the FIFA women’s eleven. The FIFA Puskás Award has been reformulated and will be awarded to the scorer of the best goal in men’s football, regardless of championship or nationality. In order to honor the best goal of any women’s league on the planet, the FIFA Marta Award will be presented for the first time, named in honor of the Brazilian legend.
