Rubén García was the protagonist when an image of him was revealed collecting mud and debris after the DANA passed through the province of Valencia. The footballer, whose images were revealed by his mother, is from Valencia and felt the need to help his neighbors. “My body told me that I didn’t have to be in Pamplona and, if not helping in the areas that were affected, supporting my family, my friendsto my parents,” he assured.
“So that it is understood, it could have perfectly been my town that was affected and that I would have had that catastrophe at home. So, I felt the need to help and support. In the end, they are areas that I know, where I went when I played for the Valencian team, where I have friends there, I had acquaintances. I asked the club for permission to see if I could go down more than anything because I had played in the Cup. –then it was postponed–, I had recently come back from a small injury… I knew about the difficulty, but I was not in good spirits,” stated the Osasuna player.
Vicente Moreno still does not appear for Osasuna training, which has respected his decision to go to his town, Massanassa, to help his people. “Obviously, if anyone could understand it, it was the coach. and he had no hesitation in telling me to do what I considered appropriate and that if I had to be there, go ahead,” said Rubén García.

“Massanassa is one of the most affected, half of the town is destroyedlike others like Catarroja and Paiporta, very affected. Many clubs have helped, solidarity has arrived. It is comforting that your club and your environment try to help all of this,” he concluded.
