“Sport Bild” mentions the total

Sebastian Hoeneß has not yet given any indication that he is planning on saying goodbye to VfB Stuttgart any time soon. However, it has been known for a long time that he has relatively free control over one thanks to the exit clause – and for a fee that is not particularly high, as a report now shows. Nevertheless, if Hoeneß were to leave early, he would be among the most expensive coaches at Bundesliga clubs and would be roughly on a par with current Leipzig player Marco Rose when he left Gladbach for BVB in 2021.
According to information from “Sport Bild”, Hoeneß’s exit clause is between 5 and 6 million euros. However, the contract option contains the condition that the interested club must be represented in international business. The report also emphasizes that the VfB coach currently has no intention of changing. He wouldn’t think about it until spring at the earliest. He wanted to avoid a hasty departure from Stuttgart in order to build his career slowly. A few days ago, “Sky” mentioned champions Bayer 04 Leverkusen as a possible interested party, where Hoeneß would be a candidate to succeed Xabi Alonso should he leave the Werkself.
The topic of exit clauses is extremely present at VfB Stuttgart. In the summer, BVB brought in Serhou Guirassy (28) and Waldemar Anton (28), two key players from Stuttgart, using this contract option. In recent weeks there have also been reports about clauses in the contracts of Enzo Millot (22) and Jamie Leweling (23). While the necessary sum for Leweling – there is talk of at least 20 million euros – still exceeds his current market value of 13 million euros, Millot’s market value is now well ahead of his fixed transfer fee. He should be able to go for 18 to 20 million, but his valuation increased to the VfB record sum of 42 million euros this October. And Chris Führich (26) should also be able to be bought out of his contract, which was extended in February, with a 17 million euro clause.
The height makes me cry – again
In addition, every bet that Alonso is only allowed to change for a multiple. …
Hoeneß’s father, Dieter Hoeneß, confirmed in May that an exit clause was also part of the working paper (until 2027) that was extended in March. It was about “protecting the coach to a certain extent”.
