The German national team has improved in the FIFA world rankings after two victories in the Nations League. National coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team climbed two places in the October rankings from position 13 to eleven and is now as high as it was last exactly two years ago.
The DFB team had booked their ticket to the quarter-finals of the Nations League early with victories in Bosnia (2:1) and against the Netherlands (1:0). The Germans are at the top of Group 3 of League A with ten points after four games. In November the national team will continue in the Nations League with duels against Bosnia and Hungary. These are the last international matches of this calendar year.

World champion Argentina remains in pole position in the world rankings. Nothing happened for the five following teams either. The biggest winners of this update are Comoros, jumping from 118th to 108th. Tunisia is the biggest loser (-11) and is now in 47th place.
