With the introduction of the Hong Kong U22 League, the transfer market database finds another addition in Asia. Hong Kong’s reserve league features players from all age ranges, but especially between the ages of 16 and 18. Eight youth divisions from the nine teams in the top-flight Hong Kong Premier League are fighting for the title in the competition’s debut year. Among the twelve foreigners on the team there is also a Basel-born German, Justin Estlinbaum (Hong Kong FC).
