He Manchester City has confirmed the rumors that had started this week and has made official the goodbye of Txiki Begiristain as Football Director after twelve years, an adventure that he undertook just after leaving Barça.
“After twelve trophy-filled years at the Etihad Stadium, Txiki will leave his current position following the Club’s participation in this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup”the club expressed in a statement, in which it also announced that Hugo Vianajust as it had been leaked, will be his replacement and he will leave the Sporting of Portugal.
