The injured Dani Carvajal, Rodrigo Hernández ‘Rodri’ and Robin Le Normand visited the Spanish internationals this Thursday at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas and gave encouragement to Luis de la Fuente’s team for the two matches that the Spanish team will play against Denmark and Serbia, corresponding to the League of Nations.
Two events in which the ‘Red’ will not be able to count on Carvajal, Rodri or Le Normand, three of the pillars of the Spanish team that was proclaimed champion of the Euro Cup in Germany last summer.

Carvajal, who went to the Ciudad del Fútbol with crutches, suffered a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament last Saturday, as well as a rupture of the external collateral ligament and a rupture of the popliteal tendon in his right leg in the league match between Real Madrid and Villarreal.
Manchester City midfielder Rodrigo Hernández ‘Rodri’ will also have to spend several months out, who like Carvajal also came on crutches, after suffering an injury to the ligaments in his right knee.
“This reception speaks of the team we have created and the appreciation they have for us. You never know when these things can happen to you, it is part of football and life and I have always had the philosophy of moving forward with everything, of being optimistic and try to take the positive side and come back stronger,” Rodri commented.
“I am very excited, looking forward to tomorrow’s operation and starting the recovery with a lot of energy. We are a big family and I was looking forward to seeing everyone again. The reception has been fantastic,” stated Carvajal.
For his part, central defender Robin Le Normand could not enter the list of those called up by Luis de la Fuente for the matches with Denmark and Serbia after suffering a head injury with a subdural hematoma in the match between Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid last September 29.
The Spanish team, current champion of the Nations League, will face Denmark next Saturday, October 12, in Murcia; and three days later, on Tuesday, October 15, with Serbia, in Córdoba
