Media personality Clark spoke to a security member and He pointed to the fan he had been exchanging words with.
Security later escorted the fan out of his seat at Mohegan Sun Arena, where he returned shortly afterward.

Problems of racism, insults and harassment of WNBA players by fans

Following the Caitlin Clark incident, the WNBA released a statement.

As we welcome a growing fan base, the WNBA will not tolerate racist, derogatory or threatening comments directed at players, teams or anyone affiliated with the league. League security is actively monitoring threat-related activity and will work directly with teams and arenas to take appropriate action, including involving law enforcement as necessary.”
