Raphael Holzhauser has found a new employer: The 31-year-old is moving to Malta to join first division club FC Marsaxlokk. The two-time ÖFB international made his Premier League debut on Sunday against Sliema Wanderers. Most recently, the Lower Austrian played for Swift Hesperingen in Luxembourg until the summer, for whom he scored ten goals in 14 games in the BGL Ligue.

Marsaxlokk is Holzhauser’s eighth foreign stop in a fifth country after his stop in Luxembourg and engagements in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.
