Another racist episode in Spanish football. The derby played this Saturday at El Molinón had a lot of excitement, historic rivalry, intensity and great goals… without forgetting a regrettable incident that outraged Sporting itself, with one of its fans being the sad protagonist of the episode.
The second part was running when Hassan, Oviedo playerwas insulted in a racist and aggressive manner by a supporter of the local team. As can be seen in the video, the Sporting supporter shouts at the footballer when he approaches the stands, calling him Franco-Egyptian footballer “son of a bitch” and “shit monkey”.
Hassanwho played for Sporting last season, returned to Molinón with the eternal rival shirt and was heckled and booed by sections of the crowd. But the racist behaviour of the fan has greatly upset even Sporting itself, as was to be expected.

The red-and-white club has already reacted to this controversy with the following text on the social network ‘X’: “Real Sporting is working to locate the fan who insulted a visiting player today. OurThe Club does not tolerate any manifestation of racism. We are already investigating what happened. We applaud and appreciate the general behavior of our fans.”.
