One of the most valuable footballers without a contract is off the market. LOSC Lille presented midfielder André Gómes on Friday evening as the “last piece of the puzzle” of its squad. The 31-year-old Portuguese has signed a contract with the Ligue 1 club until June 2026. Gómes had already played for the French on loan in the 2022/23 season.
Most recently, the veteran played for Everton FC in the Premier League, for whom he has also made the most appearances in his professional career (114). Gómes recorded the highest market value of his career at 30 million euros in the summer of 2016, and the right-footer is now valued at 10 million euros.
