Benfica Lisbon has made a decent transfer profit with Marcos Leonardo within just six months. The 21-year-old striker is moving to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia for 40 million euros and has signed a contract there until 2029. Just last winter, the Portuguese record champions transferred 18 million euros to FC Santos.

Leonardo scored eight goals in 24 appearances for Benfica, and his market value has remained unchanged at €25 million since his purchase. For Al-Hilal, Leonardo is the most expensive signing this summer, after almost €54 million was previously spent on full-backs Moteb Al-Harbi (24) and João Cancelo (30). Only three new signings in the league were more expensive this summer.
