Werder Interested In Attacking Talent Crnac – Raków Has Received A 7 Million Offer

Wolves’ Silva also on list

The Croatian U21 international Ante Crnac has attracted the interest of Werder Bremen. According to the online portal “Germanijak”, talks with the 1.90 meter tall striker are at an advanced stage. Crnac is still bound to Ekstraklasa club Raków Czestochowa until 2028, where he was able to put himself on the showcase in his first year.

The 2023 Polish champions brought the flexible attacker from his hometown of Slaven Belupo Koprivnica last summer for a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros. With eight goals and five assists, Crnac immediately became Raków’s top scorer. The competition for Werder is accordingly fierce.

According to Transfermarkt information, an offer from Palermo FC for €5 million was rejected. There is currently another offer on the table for €7 million plus bonuses, but it is not known which club it is from. For Werder, such a sum would be the most expensive purchase since Leonardo Bittencourt (30; for €7 million from Hoffenheim) in the summer of 2020.

Alternative to Crnac: Werder Bremen has Wolves record signing Silva on its list

According to transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, Fábio Silva (22) is on Bremen’s list as an alternative. The Portuguese striker is still tied to Wolverhampton until 2026, who are said to be considering a loan with an obligation to buy.

In the summer of 2020, Wolves made Silva, who was only 18 years old, the club’s record signing for 40 million euros at the time, but he was never able to live up to expectations. In the last six months, he scored six goals in 25 appearances on loan to Glasgow Rangers.
