HThere are personalities who, when they come together and form a romantic relationship, become iconic due to their recognition within society. This is what happened with one of the couples that many Spaniards will never forget and that is part of the history of Spain in the sporting field. This was the one formed by Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero.
The journalist and the then goalkeeper of the Spanish National Team gave the Spanish people one of the most iconic moments in television history, his legendary kiss in the post-match interview after winning the only World Cup in Spain’s history in 2010.
Several years have passed since their separation and, as is normal, each person takes their own path in this life. Sara Carbonero is making the most of the summer and enjoying everything she can. A few days ago she could be seen, accompanied by some friends, to enjoy all that one of the Spanish coastal destinations, Cabo de Gata, has to offer. One of these friends who accompanied her was Isabel Jimenez.
A few days later, Sara headed to Panama, as she is a UNICEF ambassador. The journalist had been determined for some time to see with her own eyes the situations that many children in these places have to face. Knowing what she would see, she posted this reflection to her followers: “I know it will be a difficult journey both physically and emotionally.”

However, while Carbonero was in Panama, she received one of the most painful news she could receive, a friend, which he considered one of the fundamental pillars of his life, had died.
A loss that left the journalist deeply affected, and she shared this farewell on Instagram: “The only people I’m interested in are the crazy ones, the people who are crazy to live, crazy to talk, crazy to be saved, wanting everything at the same time, the people who never yawn or make a cliché, but burn, burn like fabulous yellow rockets exploding like spiders among the stars and then you see a blue light burst and everyone goes Ahh!!! -Jack Kerouac”.
Sara Carbonero continued the publication with these words: “I write this sentence because you loved it. It’s going to be very difficult to live without you. What a fucking pain! How unfair!
